Universal wood fibre insulation for roofs and facades (as a support for plaster or rain screen behind cladding)
Gutex Omnitherm is a hydrophobic softwood fibre board, ideal for ventilated façades and as diffusion-open rafter insulation. With thicknesses of up to 200 mm, it provides effective insulation of roof and façade in a single operation, saving time and money. Its format of 1760 x 600 mm also contributes to rapid installation, particularly on roofs. In addition, ecological Omnitherm impresses with its excellent thermal insulation properties thanks to low thermal conductivity (λD 0.040 W/mK) and excellent heat-storage capacity.

Natural, durable rafter insulation with Omnitherm
Omnitherm recyclable wood-fibre board is also suitable for use as roof insulation on rafters from a thickness of 60 mm upwards. After installation, the board must be fixed and immediately protected by an underlay. In combination with underlay sheets from Gutex partners such as Ampack, ProClima, Isocel or Würth, it is even possible to create low-slope roofs ≤10° to ≥5° diffusion-open pitch - for greater building physics safety and living comfort. Alternatively, Multiplex-top can be used as a rainproof underlay from a roof pitch of 15° upwards.

- Untreated fir and spruce wood

Storage and processing
- Store and use Omnitherm in a dry place.
Cutting
- Cutting is carried out using standard wood-cutting machines, and the statutory guidelines for handling wood dust must be observed.
Important notes
- Lay the panels perpendicular to the supporting structure, with a precise fit and watertight joints.
- Cross joints are not permitted.
- Damaged panels must not be installed.
- Increased humidity loads on the room side should be avoided.
- Dimensioning and positioning of fasteners in accordance with screw manufacturer's instructions.
Use in walls (on masonry, solid wood, ventilated and rendered facades)
Observe dimensions :
- Panel thickness 60-100 mm: max. centres 83.5 cm
- Panel thickness 120-160 mm: max. centres 93.5 mm
- Fix immediately with a rear ventilation batten.
- Joints should be at least 30 cm apart
