Gutex Multitherm is a hydrophobic softwood fibre board, ideal for ventilated facades and as diffusion-open rafter insulation. With thicknesses of up to 200 mm, it provides effective insulation of roof and facade in a single operation, saving time and money. Its format of 1760 x 600 mm also contributes to rapid installation, particularly on roofs. In addition, ecological Multitherm impresses with its excellent thermal insulation properties thanks to low thermal conductivity (λD 0.040 W/mK) and excellent heat storage capacity.

Multitherm, a recyclable wood-fibre board, is also suitable for use as roof insulation on rafters from a thickness of 60 mm upwards. After installation, the board must be fixed and immediately protected with an underlay. In combination with underlay sheets from Gutex partners such as Ampack, ProClima, Isocel or Würth, it is even possible to create low-slope roofs ≤10° to ≥5° diffusion-open pitch - for greater building physics safety and living comfort. Alternatively, Multiplex-top can also be used as a rainproof underlay from a roof pitch of 15° upwards.

Multitherm from 80 mm thickness upwards must be fixed with screws approved by the fixing manufacturer.

In Table 2 below, the wind pressures calculated according to Table 1 are divided into wind suction categories 1 to 4 for simplicity's sake.
