Gutex Thermoroom makes it possible to modernise buildings and homes in a way that is safe from the point of view of building physics, because the durable insulation increases the surface temperature of the internal walls, thereby minimising the risk of condensation forming. The diffusive properties and moisture-buffering capacity of ecological wood fibre promote active moisture transport, thereby also contributing to perfect, durable internal insulation. For optimum results and maximum living comfort, we recommend using lime or clay plasters, which are also diffusive.
Gutex Thermoroom is part of the Intevio interior insulation system and offers specialist tradesmen the widest choice of tested plaster structures. The robust interior insulation board is quick and easy to install and is ideal for masonry substrates. It can also be used to insulate suspended ceilings or as plaster insulation under rafters. Thanks to its low thermal conductivity and high heat-storage capacity, it provides good thermal protection all year round and saves energy. It also offers very good acoustic insulation, which is appreciated by not only attic dwellers.
