Under-roof panels Gutex Ultratherm and Gutex Multiplex-top meet the requirements of temporary roofing from a roof pitch of 15° up to an RDN of less than 8° and up to three higher requirements without additional gluing or film covering. The panels are assigned to technical class UDP-A in accordance with ZVDH.
Under-roof panels Gutex Ultratherm and Gutex Multiplex-top can be exposed to the elements for up to three months.

You can cut thinner board thicknesses or small quantities of the flexible wood fibre insulation blanket Gutex Thermoflexx for larger quantities, we recommend an electric insulation saw with a corrugated blade, such as the cordless insulation saw from Festool or the Alligator from Bosch.

In timber-frame construction, fit Gutex Thermowall 5in1 directly onto the timber studs or onto any existing sheathing. On flat timber substrates such as solid timber walls, fit the insulation boards directly. Use approved wood screws or stainless steel wide-crown staples to fix the boards.
On mineral substrates, Gutex Thermowall 5in1 must be bonded and mechanically fixed in accordance with the applicable ETICS system documentation and installation guidelines. With closed-joint cladding, you do not need an additional façade membrane over Gutex Thermowall 5in1. For open-jointed cladding, we recommend using a waterproof, UV-resistant façade membrane.
You can use Gutex Thermowall 5in1 wood fibre insulation boards as external sheathing on framing, solid wood elements or masonry. Fix the insulation boards immediately with the rear-ventilation battens. Use your fastener manufacturer's sizing service to size the fasteners for the specific project.
Gutex Thermowall 5in1 may only be rendered as part of a suitable approved external thermal insulation composite system.
